How Bagwork works
A token's creator fees are named for one X account, but they're not handed over for nothing. The account earns them by posting about the token — the more views, the more of the bag it unlocks that day.
01Overview
Tokens launched here are ordinary Pons tokens on Robinhood Chain: they trade on a bonding curve, then graduate to a Uniswap v4 pool. The only difference is who receives the creator fees. Instead of the deployer's wallet, the fee recipient is a vault created for that one token, and Bagwork releases what it holds to the named X account according to how much that account posts about it.
- 1
Launch
Anyone launches a token and names the X account its fees are for.
- 2
Trade
Every trade pays a fee. The creator's share flows into the token's vault.
- 3
Post
The X account posts the $TICKER or contract address. We count the views.
- 4
Unlock
At 00:05 UTC each day, those views unlock a share of the bag, sent in the pair asset.
02Launching a token
Connect a wallet on Robinhood Chain, then fill in the launch form:
Pons charges a 0.0005 ETH launch fee. Launching on Pons is currently allowlisted; if your wallet isn't allowed yet, the form tells you before you sign anything.
03Where fees go
Pons charges a 1% fee on every trade (plus any creator tax). Pons keeps 30% of the 1% base; the creator share — 70% of the base plus 100% of the creator tax — goes to the token's vault. From what the vault collects each day:
04Unlock tiers
Each UTC day, the X account's counted views on posts about the token decide how much of the whole bag — including everything carried over from earlier days — is released:
25%
of the bag at 1K views
50%
of the bag at 5K views
75%
of the bag at 10K views
100%
of the bag at 25K views
Under 1K views, nothing unlocks that day and the bag keeps growing. One good day of posting can unlock weeks of fees.
05What counts as a view
- Only posts from the named account count, and only ones that mention the token's $TICKER (as a cashtag) or its contract address. Reposts don't count; quotes and replies do.
- A post only counts once it has stayed up for 30 minutes, so posting to unlock and deleting doesn't work. Deleted or hidden posts stop counting.
- A post keeps earning on new views for 7 days after it goes up. Each view is counted once, on the day it happened.
- For each posting day, only that day's best 3 posts count — spamming the ticker doesn't help.
- Views are X's own impression counts, read from the X API every 15 minutes. Deleted or hidden posts stop counting.
06Getting paid
The recipient is not asked to do anything — there's no account to make and no wallet to connect. Each day's fees are collected onchain into the Bagwork treasury, and whatever an account unlocked is priced in dollars and sent to it through X Money, the same way usepaid.app pays. Every payment is listed on Payouts.
07Unclaimed and quiet bags
Payments go out through X Money, so an account without X Money gets a claimable payment it usually has 14 days to accept. Unclaimed payments return to the Bagwork treasury. If the named account doesn't post about the token for 30 days, its locked bag is forfeited to the treasury too.
08Stopping payments
Launchers can name any account, so any account can opt out. Sign in with X on My earnings and stop payments; nothing more is sent, and you can turn it back on later.
